Staff School (CCSS) is to provide a
Summer Leadership School (SLS) for
AFJROTC programs across the state
of  Texas, with the mission of
developing the attending cadets into
leaders capable of running their
respective corps or programs.  This is
done through an extensive, week-long
program with a focus in the following
areas:

based course of instruction, guided
discussion and study focusing on
issues of leadership, corps
management, corps operations and
communication.

Personal Development – Daily
activities and requirements include
physical training (PT), a room
inspection, personal inspection and
drill and ceremonies, geared at
developing personal attributes key to
every leader.

Team Building – Activities include
parade practice, team sports, team
challenges and other flight-based
activities to encourage the
development of cooperative attitudes
and problem-solving skills.

The target cadet audience is
upcoming senior cadets and by
exception upcoming junior cadets who
will fill key positions in their respective
corps’ for the upcoming academic
year.  The goal of CCSS is to provide
cadets a safe, positive and interactive
learning experience focused on corps
leadership and management.
